Dr. Audette, PT, Ph.D. joined UNE in 2019. She teaches content related to professional development and practice. She served as the Program Director until June 2023. She has 24 years of experience in PT education. She received a BS in Physical Therapy from Northeastern 高清不卡福利, an Advanced Masters in Physical Therapy from Boston 高清不卡福利, and a PhD in Education from the 高清不卡福利 of Rhode Island. Over the course of her career she has worked in a variety of clinical settings and served, for 10 years, as the Director of Rehabilitation at a Rhode Island hospital. Her research has focused on international opportunities for physical therapy students, faculty practice, and curriculum development. She has organized and led dozens of international experiences, all over the world, for physical therapy students. 

Jennifer served on the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Academy of Leadership and Innovation Board of Directors as the Director of Social Responsibility and was the Chair of the APTA 高清不卡福利 Health Special Interest Group. In 2024 she received the APTA, Academy of Leadership and Innovation, Ronnie Leavitt Award for Leadership in the Promotion of Social Responsibility in Physical Therapy. In 2019 she was honored with the Health Volunteers Overseas Golden Apple Award. In April 2025 she was elected Chair of the Executive Board for the North America Caribbean Region of World Physiotherapy (WP) and is involved in WP activities in a variety of capacities. She has done volunteer teaching and curricular development work in Suriname, Haiti, and Guatemala. She is a 2020 graduate of the American Physical Therapy Association, Fellowship in Education Leadership. In 2025 she was honored by the American Physical Therapy Association with a Challenge Coin in recognition of her service to the profession.
