‘Mainebiz’ ranks UNE as Maine’s largest private university
Mainebiz has included UNE in its 2017 ‘Book of Lists’ edition, listing it as one of Maine’s largest colleges and universities. Of the state’s twelve private colleges and universities, UNE has the highest enrollment for full-time undergraduate students.
UNE is listed as the fourth largest college or university overall, behind the ¸ßÇå²»¿¨¸£Àû of Maine, the ¸ßÇå²»¿¨¸£Àû of Southern Maine and Southern Maine Community College.
Overall enrollment at UNE reached a record high in 2016, topping 12,245 students.
