Noah Perlut, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Environmental Studies, and his Terrestrial Wildlife and Ecology students recently captured footage of bobcats, ravens, a bald eagle and a turkey vulture  in UNE’s 363-acre forest.

As part of their scavenger ecology research, Perlut and his students placed two remote motion-activated cameras around white-tailed deer carcasses. Recorded in early February 2016, the cameras captured images of a variety of species.

Environmental Science and Animal Behavior major Sarah Fleishmann (’16) produced two videos from the images.
