OT students volunteer for Partners for World Health

On Saturday, September 12, 2015 a group of Occupational Therapy students volunteered in South Portland for Partners for World Health to help sort and organize medical supplies and learn more about the organization from founder and president, Elizabeth McLellan. 

PWH recycles unused medical supplies such as from various hospitals and additional facilities and repurposes them to help countries in Africa, Asia and South America get the necessary medical supplies and training they need.

The UNE students volunteered as part of the OT ¸ßÇå²»¿¨¸£Àû Day of Service, demonstrating their commitment to meeting societies’ occupational needs and addressing occupational justice.  The MS, OT 2017 students who volunteered were: Nicole Allen, Kelsey Bennet, Victoria DeGeorge, Abby Fournier, Kati Haun, Jessica Hering, Chelsea Hockman, Michaela Marshall, Calley Rock, Ariella Wrubleski.
