Karen Pardue serves as invited speaker at Colby College

Karen Pardue, Ph.D., R.N., associate dean of Academic Affairs for the Westbrook College of Health Professions, delivered an invited lecture at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, on Thursday, March 5, 2015. She was invited to speak by Colby鈥檚 Art Department and its Science, Technology and Society program.

Her presentation, "Discovering Synergies: Health Profession Education and the Arts," explored the intersection between science and the arts/ humanities in medical education.   Her lecture was followed by a practical application exercise conducted in the Colby College Museum of Art.
