David Smith publishes essay on ideology on ‘Philosophy Talk’ website
David Livingstone Smith, Ph.D., professor of philosophy, wrote an essay that was published on the Philosophy Talk Community of Thinkers website.
In "The Paradoxes of Ideology," Smith wrote that although the notion of ideology is very important and "scholars have produced mountains of erudite writing on the topic," there is "disagreement about exactly what ideology is and how, if at all, we can square the various notions of ideology with one another."
