Cynthia Simon presents at Maine 2015 CPA Continuing Education Seminar

Cynthia Simon, director of the College of Arts and Sciences Internship Office, gave a presentation at the Maine 2015 CPA Continuing Education Seminar, hosted by St. Joseph鈥檚 College and held in Bangor on September 25, 2015.

Simon鈥檚 talk, titled 鈥淎cademic Internships: Crafting, Recruiting and Managing,鈥 advised certified public accountants in Maine  on the pertinent aspects of taking on college interns and included topics such as who are the millennials, how to craft internship position descriptions, legal and accreditation issues, how to effectively recruit from higher education institutions, and managing and developing diverse interns.
