UNE鈥檚 women鈥檚 basketball team featured in two online articles

The Portland Press Herald (online) and Seacoastonline featured stories on February 8 and 9, respectively, about UNE鈥檚 women鈥檚 basketball team.  Both stories reported on the results of the USA Today Division III Coaches Poll, which ranked UNE鈥檚 team 25th in the nation.

Coach Anthony Ewing was interviewed for the articles, as were several players.

The Seacostonline story, 鈥淧HS grad Brown finds early success with UNE basketball,鈥 highlights freshman center Alicia Brown.  鈥淪he鈥檚 exceeded what I thought she鈥檇 be able to do this year,鈥 Ewing said of Brown, 鈥渂ut she hasn鈥檛 exceeded her potential.鈥

UNE鈥檚 women鈥檚 basketball team currently boasts a 19-2 record.
