Medical students present research posters at American Geriatrics Society Annual Meeting

Jillian Dodge, Jordan Faloon, Juliana Hoffelder and Bridget Foley, all second-year medical students in the College of Osteopathic Medicine, wrote research abstracts that were selected by the reviewers at the American Geriatrics Society (AGS). The students presented research posters at the AGS Annual Meeting, which was held in May 2014 in Orlando, Florida.

Dodge and Faloon presented their Learning by Living ethnographic research.  Dodge lived in a nursing home in Littleton, Massachusetts, and Faloon lived in a home in Biddeford, Maine, as part of the project.

Foley and Hoffelder presented their respective research from their American Federation for Aging Research Medical Student Training in Aging Research (MSTAR) Fellowships. Foley also had her abstract selected for presentation in the AGS Presidential Poster Session and Reception.
