Kathleen Welch to present at National STD Prevention Conference

On June 10, 2014, Kathleen Welch, MA, MPH, PhD, adjunct professor for the School of Community and Population Health, will present two abstracts at the 2014 National STD Prevention Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

These abstracts are titled "The Need for Rectal and Pharyngeal Screening of Gonorrhea and Chlamydia in MSM" and "Expedited Partner Therapy Receipt Reported by Individuals with Gonorrhea- Louisiana, 2009-2013.鈥

Welch is also the HIV/STD Prevention Evaluator for the Louisiana Office of Public Health STD/HIV Program.
