Jennifer Morton and Shelley Cohen Konrad to be published in WORK: A Journal of Prevention, Assessment and Rehabilitation

UNE鈥檚 Director of Nursing Jennifer Morton, D.N.P., M.S., M.P.H., A.P.H.N., and Associate Professor in the School of Social Work, Shelley Cohen Konrad, Ph.D., L.C.S.W, will be published in WORK: A Journal of Prevention, Assessment and Rehabilitation.

Their article 鈥淏ridging the Gaps: An Early Integrated Support Collaborative for At Risk Mothers in Rural Maine鈥 addresses the plight of mothers and young children exposed to opiates and the lack of access to care in rural communities.  

Marjorie Withers, L.C.P.C., director of the Community Caring Collaborative, RuthAnne Spense, Ph.D., research associate professor for the Center for Community and Public Health, and Carry Buterbaugh, Ph.D., research associate for the Center for Community and Public Health, served as corresponding authors.
