The news article, titled 鈥淪tronger Adolescents and Teens Have Less Risk of Diabetes, Heart Disease,鈥 discussed a study that the researchers conducted in which health data, including markers for increased risk of heart disease (such as body fat percentage, glucose level, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and triglycerides) were examined alongside strength capacity in 1,400 children aged 10-12.

The results demonstrated a significant link between strength-to-body-mass-ratios and reduced cardiometabolic risk.

The study was published in the journal Pediatrics.
