Carolyn Bradley receives 2014 American Academy of Critical Care Nurses Research Abstract Award

Carolyn Bradley MSN, RN, CCRN, assistant clinical professor in the Department of Nursing, was awarded the 2014 American Academy of Critical Care Nurses Research Abstract Award for her study, "The perceptions of adult hospitalized patients regarding family presence during cardiopulmonary resuscitation."

Bradley will disseminate this work during oral and poster presentations at the National Teaching Institute and Critical Care Exposition (NTI) in Denver, Colorado, on May 20, 2014.  NTI is a yearly national conference hosted by the American Academy of Critical Care Nurses.

The abstract for this study was published in the May 2014 issue of theAmerican Journal of Critical Care. Bradley worked with an actively engaged team of experienced critical care nurses at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.
