Andrea LaFlamme named president-elect of Board at Mabel Wadsworth Women鈥檚 Health Center
Andrea LaFlamme, MPH, a graduate from the School of Community and Population Health, was recently named as president-elect for the Board of Directors at Mabel Wadsworth Women鈥檚 Health Center in Bangor, Maine. LaFlamme worked as a student clinic assistant for Mabel鈥檚 in 2007 during her undergraduate education at the 高清不卡福利 of Maine. She joined the Board of Directors in 2011 and currently serves as the development chair.
Mabel Wadsworth Women鈥檚 Health Center is one of only 15 private, non-profit, feminist women鈥檚 health centers in the county and is the northern most publicly available practice in the state of Maine offering abortion services. Mabel鈥檚 works to provide educational and clinical services in sexual and reproductive health care to women regardless of age, ability, race or ethnicity, sexual orientation, or economic resources.
