Amita Mittal presents at Women in Statistics conference

Amita Mittal, M.S., associate lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, presented at the Women in Statistics conference, with was held in North Carolina, May 14-17, 2014.

Mittal鈥檚 presentation discussed how the relatively new upsurge of online education promises to reshape how educators deliver knowledge. As promising as the new model is, it is still in the budding stages.

Mittal maintained that online education poses challenges that were not present in face to face delivery of education.
