Alexandria D鈥橝mbruoso wins 2014 Brain Awareness Travel Award
Alexandria D鈥橝mbruoso 鈥14, a medical biology major and psychology minor with a concentration in neuroscience, was recently selected as the 2014 Brain Awareness Travel Award recipient.
As an award winner, D鈥橝mbruoso will attend the Neuroscience 2014 conference, presenting her research poster at the November 15th Brain Awareness Campaign event and the Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience Social on November 17th. Her travel expenses will be covered by the award.
The title of D鈥橝mbruoso鈥檚 research poster is 鈥淵earlong project where numerous presentations and hands-on activities were delivered in over 10 different K-12 schools in Southern Maine.鈥
D鈥橝mbruoso is the former president of UNE鈥檚 Undergraduate Neuroscience Club. She will be attending Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science in Manchester, New Hampshire, in the physician assistant graduate program.
