Ruth Dufresne presents poster presentations at American Public Health Association

Ruth Dufresne, M.S., research associate for the School of Community and Population Health, along with staff from the Maine CDC Partnership For A Tobacco-Free Maine, presented her work at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting on November 5, 2013.

The group presented two posters titled 鈥淓valuation of a Community Initiative to Increase Tobacco-Free Recreation Policies in Maine鈥 and 鈥淓valuation of a Community Initiative to Reduce Point-of-Sale Tobacco Advertising in Maine.鈥

The posters addressed the objectives, challenges and opportunities, implementation and evaluation methods, and results for the tobacco-free recreation policy initiative and the point-of-sale tobacco advertising initiative.
