WCSH 6 features story on MARC seal release

WCSH 6 news on July 22, 2012 covered the release of three seals by the UNE Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center (MARC).

Although MARC typically releases seals from the beach, staff sent these three seals into the open water from a whale watching boat off Camp Ellis, Saco.

Accompanying the crew was Leigha Coughtrie of Brunswick who won a MARC seal-naming contest. She chose the name Wiggle, and as a prize got to open the cage and send Wiggle home.
