Suvi Neukam featured in UC San Diego publication ‘Successful Aging’

Suvi Neukam, currently in her third year of medical school at UNECOM, was recently featured in UC San Diego Health Sciences August issue of Successful Aging, a publication of the Stein Institute for Research on Aging.

Neukam completed the Medical Student Training in Aging Research (MSTAR) program at the Stein Institute during the summer preceding her second year of medical school.  Her participation in the program bolstered her desire to become a geriatrician.

Neukam’s long term goal is to start a geriatrics-centered medical home practice, while remaining involved in research on healthy aging.
