Noel Genova receives Drew Travers Award

Adjunct Assistant Professor Noel Genova, PA-C, received UNE鈥檚 Physician Assistant graduate program鈥檚 annual Drew Travers Award on November 9, 2012.

Genova serves as a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants Education Council and is on the editorial board of the Journal of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants.

Drew Travers, PA-C was the first physician assistant licensed in the State of Maine and was committed to improving the health of all Mainers through both his clinical practice and promotion of the PA profession across the state. He was one of the co-architects and founding advocates responsible for the establishment of the UNE鈥檚 physician assistant program.
