David Smith a guest on two radio programs and quoted by German magazine

David Livingstone Smith, Ph.D., UNE associate professor of philosophy, will be a guest on Cleveland NPR affiliate WCPN along with fellow Anisfield-Wolf award winner historian David Blight on The Sound of Ideas with Mike McIntyre, Sept 13, 2012.

Smith was named winner of the 77th Annual Anisfield-Wolf Book Award for Nonfiction for his 2011 book Less Than Human: Why We Demean, Enslave, and Exterminate Others. The award was announced by the Cleveland Foundation April 2012.

Smith was also recently interviewed by Pacifica Radio, along with fellow Anisfield-Wolf Award winner Arnold Rampersad.

In addition, Smith was recently quoted in an article in the German magazine Focus, which discussed the German broadcast of the documentary "Conspiracy Rising," in which Smith is featured.
