David Mokler鈥檚 review of opioid drugs to appear in Pain Research and Treatment journal

The journal Pain Research and Treatment has recently accepted a paper by David Mokler, Ph.D., professor of pharmacology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences in the College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The paper, titled, 'Effects of Combined Opioids on Pain and Mood in Mammals,' reviews the use of two classes of opioid (morphine-like) drugs to enhance the effects of each drug to reduce pain while also reducing the side-effects associated with each class of drugs.  It is co-authored by Dr. Mokler's doctoral research advisor Richard Rech, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus at Michigan State 高清不卡福利, and Shannon Briggs, Ph.D.
