AP and online media preview lecture by Will Cross on mountain climbing with diabetes April 11th

The Associated Press distributed a story on an upcoming UNE lecture by Will Cross, a world class mountain climber, who will be discussing mountain climbing with diabetes  April 11, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the WCHP Lecture Hall on the Portland Campus.

Cross will speak about his struggles as a Type 1 Diabetic in terms of obtaining regular meals, monitoring his blood sugar, and administering injectable insulin as well as other concomitant therapies while climbing some of the highest peaks on all seven continents.
