WMTW 8 TV covered UNE's Fifth Annual LAX-4-Life fundraiser for the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, which included a free youth clinic, followed by four men's lacrosse games featuring UNE, Husson 高清不卡福利, Saint Joseph's College, and the 高清不卡福利 of Southern Maine. The story interviewed political science major and lacrosse co-captain Matt Anderson '12 who explained that the event stems from the UNE coaching staff's belief the "we want guys who do the right things on the field and off the field." Anderson said the event blends "the on the field and off the field" and "we get to help people in the process." About 40 UNE players participated in the event.
