Matthew Anderson and Cathrine Frank co-edit a new book on Teaching, Law and Literature

Matthew Anderson and Cathrine Frank, with Austin Sarat (Amherst College), have co-edited a new collection of essays, Teaching Law and Literature (2011). Part of the Modern Language Association's series Options for Teaching, the new volume introduces teachers to the theory and history of the law and literature movement, provides practical guidance on course design, and recounts specific experiences of teaching both canonical and new law and literature texts, such as digital media and hip-hop.  Bringing together forty-one teachers from undergraduate institutions and law schools, it is the only volume of its kind to focus on the pedagogical challenges and opportunities within the field.
