Jim Cavanaugh presents findings from his recent research at the Combined Sections Meeting of APTA

Jim Cavanaugh, PhD, PT, NCS presented findings from his recent research at the Combined Sections Meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in New Orleans, LA on February 10, 2011. The presentation, entitled "Physical Activity Characteristics of Fallers and Non-fallers with Parkinson Diisease" resulted from his participation as a co-investigator in a 2 year multi-center longitudinal cohort study designed to chart the natural history of progression of Parkinson disease.  The study, currently underway, is funded by the Davis Phinney Foundation and the Parkinson's Disease.
