Dr. Edward Bilsky selected to serve on AAPM Research Committee

Dr. Edward Bilsky, Professor of Pharmacology in the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Director of the Center for Excellence in the Neurosciences, has been selected to serve as a member of the Research Committee of the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM).

Dr. Bilsky will be making several presentations at the AAPM annual meeting in March and was selected for his expertise in opioid pharmacology and preclinical analgesic drug development. The Research Committee advises the AAPM on aspects of its new strategic plan, with this year marking the first phase. The organization鹿s primary goal is to optimize the health of patients in pain and eliminate its public health burden.
