COP/CEN faculty member Karen Houseknecht publishes collaborative research findings in the journal Bone

Karen L. Houseknecht, Ph.D., professor in the College of Pharmacy, recently published a paper entitled: 鈥淭rabecular bone loss after administration of the second-generation antipsychotic risperidone is independent of weight gain鈥 in the journal Bone (2011; doi: 10.1016/j.bone.2011.08.005).  The paper highlights collaborative efforts of Dr. Houseknecht with colleagues at Maine Medical Center Research Institute (Katherine Motyl, corresponding author; Cliff Rosen; Ingrid Dick-de-Paula; Sheila Bornstein; Francisco J.
