Christian Teter involved with a new research grant through Mercy Hospital

Christian J. Teter, PharmD, BCPP, assistant professor, Psychopharmacology, is involved with a new grant through Mercy Hospital in Portland.  His role is Program Evaluator/Research Investigator for the Portland Area Residential Services Consortium.  Mercy Recovery Center (MRC), a department of Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine, in collaboration with Youth Alternatives Ingraham (YI) and Crossroads for Women (CW) has formed the Portland Area Residential Services Consortium. The Consortium鈥檚 purpose is to expand the capacity of residential services in and around Portland. The project has two goals: (1) To increase treatment capacity in residential settings in greater Portland for those suffering from alcohol and other substance abuse, via cross-agency collaboration and innovative program design, and; (2) To use the collective power of the Consortium to transform the current fractured system of care into a patient-centric, collaborative, and financially sustainable model.
