Bruce Bates, D.O. certified in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine

Associate Dean for Clinical Services and Chair and Department of Geriatric Medicine, Bruce Bates, D.O. has served in many capacities at UNE for the last 27 years.  He is a well-respected Family Physician specializing in Geriatrics. Dr. Bates is now certified in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine after passing the conjoint board in Hospice and Paliative Care examination administered at the OMED meeting in October and met the requirements for continuing education and service in hospice.  He is also certified in Family Practice, Geriatrics and in Medical Direction.
