Media covers College of Pharmacy's accreditation candidacy and announcement of new dean

and Kennebec Journal (Augusta) on July 8, 2010 and on July 12 reported that UNE's College of Pharmacy has received notification of the granting of Candidate status for its Doctor of Pharmacy Program from the Accreditation Council on Pharmacy Education and that the College will welcome a new dean, Gayle A. Brazeau, Ph.D., in August. According to ACPE, students enrolled in a college with Candidate status have the same rights and privileges as those in a fully-accredited program which only occurs after the inaugural class graduates.
