Josh Pahigian interviewed in ABC News story on baseball parks

An April 2, 2010 story on quoted writer and English Department adjunct faculty member Josh Pahigian at length in a story on America's 7 Best Ballparks. "With the debut of [Oriele Park at] Camden Yards ... there was a movement to combine the best of the old, as far as ballpark architecture, with the modern amenities that fans expect these days," Pahigian said. "There's a nice marriage nowadays, with the comfort that modern facilities provide with the old-time feel, old-time flavor of a ballpark more akin to Ebbets Field, for example." Pahigian is the author of seven books on baseball; his latest is The Seventh Inning Stretch: Baseball's Most Essential and Inane Debates.
