Elizabeth De Wolfe participated in a collaborative panel presentation at the annual conference of the American Association of State and Local History

Elizabeth De Wolfe, Ph.D., Professor of History, participated in a collaborative panel presentation at the annual conference of the American Association of State and Local History, held in Oklahoma City, September 25.

The panel featured participants from UNE, the McArthur Library, and the Maine Historical Society who spoke on recent collaborations between these three organizations. Dr. De Wolfe discussed the creation and teaching uses of an online exhibit about the Biddeford textile industry which included her research on the death of mill girl Berengera Caswell. In addition, Dr. De Wolfe spoke about her role in writing an essay featured in the new online resource "Maine History Online", a thematic, chronological, and critical resource for the study of history hosted by the Maine Historical Society (see ).
