AP covers release of sea turtle rehabilitated at MARC

The Associated Press ran a story on the Aug. 28, 2010 release of a loggerhead sea turtle in South Carolina that had be rehabilitated at UNE Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center. Santos, a 100-pound loggerhead, was found off New England stunned by the cold in 2008. He was treated at UNE and then brought to the Sea Turtle Rescue Program at the South Carolina Aquarium last November. Santos and a Kemp's ridley sea turtle named Surfer were released at Folly Beach County Park near Charleston. The story ran in the (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) and a number of other newspapers and websites.
