CECE Event: Social Determinants of Health and Intersections of BLM/LGBTQA
Join facilitator Jennifer Audette and national panelists in Physical Therapy and Public Health from the Regis ¸ßÇå²»¿¨¸£Àû, ¸ßÇå²»¿¨¸£Àû of Texas at El Paso and ¸ßÇå²»¿¨¸£Àû of Louisiana Monroe, as well as UNE ‘20 alumnae Negeri Clarke MS, PharmD to discuss COVID-19 health-related disparities and underlying structural inequalities that have affected the most vulnerable members of our communities.
This special CECE offering will address the interprofessional competencies of Roles & Responsibilities and Values & Ethics, and can be applied toward students’ IP Honors Distinction Badge.
This collaborative event is part of an ongoing series in partnership with UNE’s Planetary Health Council. This is one of a six-part series that will continue through fall 2020, and will bridge the impact of COVID to themes on aging/ isolation, emotional resiliency, social determinants of health, and climate change.
