Safety Culture: It Starts In ME
This year the Patient Safety Academy is pleased to announce the return of Dr. Bryan J. Sexton, Director of the Duke Patient Safety Center. His research on resilience, safety culture, and teamwork has resulted in assessment tools worldwide. Dr. Sexton will present two 90-minute sessions at the conference. Academy attendees can choose from over 8 informative workshops on topics including infection prevention, adverse drug events, telehealth, high-reliability organizations and much more. Additionally, we encourage individuals, departments, and organizations to share their patient safety innovations through posters and displays.
